Marenne

A backwater retreat, kept deliberately small.

The brief

Twenty-eight rooms on a lagoon in Kumarakom — teak, lime plaster and water on three sides, with a spa that treats slowness as the point.

A complete site — brand, copy, and build — designed for Marenne alone, on its own palette, type and voice, and used nowhere else.
